In 1992, Konami released Bucky O'Hare. The game received little attention due to being based on a series that wasn't too popular and being released after the SNES. It was one of Konami's last NES games. It was also released as a handheld electronic game and an arcade game.
Gameplay[]
The game played similar to Mega Man. You would need to save each of Bucky's crew mates (except Buster) through a series of planets. After a player rescued a crew member, they had the ability to switch to that character if they wanted.
Legacy[]
Bucky O'Hare became popular in the 2010's after a multitude of people started recognizing it as one of the NES's greatest hidden gems. It has become one of the most demanded games on the NES, however due to it's limited quantity, it can be very hard to find
